Training – Lebork, Poland, 12-17 April 2026

As part of the Erasmus+ SmartVET project, ZSMi in Lębork hosted the first international LTT1 training dedicated to Industry 4.0 technologies. Students and teachers from Poland, Turkey, Greece and France took part in a week of practical activities focused primarily on PLC workshops organised at the school, where participants developed hands-on skills in automation and industrial control systems. The programme also included activities related to IoT, CNC machining and 3D printing, allowing participants to experience modern vocational education in practice. An important result of the mobility was the production of customised aluminium plates by the students during their visit to Alteams Poland, under the guidance of company specialists. This activity allowed participants to follow the full production process and take part in hands-on training in a real industrial environment. Each partner institution received one of the aluminium plates as a practical outcome and symbol of the joint work, while one plate was presented to the local governing body on behalf of the entire consortium. The participants also visited Meyn Poland and Alteams Poland, where they learned about modern production lines, process organisation and quality control systems.
